CLOVER (Collaborative Libraries of Vermont) allows patrons to borrow books and other materials from any library in Vermont.  You will need your library card number to request any items.

Hoopla

Hoopla is your 24/7 collection.  Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow an ebook, an audiobook, a movie or listen to music instantly.  There are no holds.  On mobile devices, borrowed materials can be temporarily downloaded and accessed offline via the app or on a computer.  Hoopla also works with Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Apple TV devices.  As a Milton Public Library cardholder, you may borrow up to 4 items per month.  Your username is your library card number, and you create your own password.

OverDrive

OverDrive is your 24/7 collection.  Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow a book, an audiobook, and read-along eBooks for kids and young adults.  OverDrive even offers the Dyslexie font option, which helps those with dyslexia read better.  Your username is your library card number, and your password is your last name, all lower case.

To create an account:

  • OverDrive.com  for any user on a Windows or Mac computer.
  • OverDrive’s Libby app – recommended for Android, iOS, Windows 10, and some Chromebooks.
  • The original OverDrive app – available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, Windows 8 & 10, and Kindle Fire HD.
  • You can borrow ebooks and transfer them to compatible ereaders using free Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software on your Windows or Mac computer. See these instructions for Getting Started with EReaders.
