Hoopla is your 24/7 collection. Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow an ebook, an audiobook, a movie or listen to music instantly. There are no holds. On mobile devices, borrowed materials can be temporarily downloaded and accessed offline via the app or on a computer. Hoopla also works with Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Apple TV devices. As a Milton Public Library cardholder, you may borrow up to 4 items per month. Your username is your library card number, and you create your own password.Open Resource
OverDrive is your 24/7 collection. Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow a book, an audiobook, and read-along eBooks for kids and young adults. OverDrive even offers the Dyslexie font option, which helps those with dyslexia read better. Your username is your library card number, and your password is your last name, all lower case.

Vermont Online Library
The Vermont Online Library offers a wide array of electronic information databases on a variety of topics. Their audience is comprised of people of all age levels, and both generalists and specialists. The information is produced by known and trusted publishers and includes Gale Cengage Learning databases and Universal Class online learning. Universal Class, an online continuing education program, is available to Milton Public Library patrons. There are over 500 classes available in many subject areas such as arts and crafts, medical skills, finance, genealogy, personal care, animal care, career development and more. Each person is welcome to enroll in up to five courses at one time and will have up to six months to finish each course. Every course has a real instructor that can be communicated with via email.
